NNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

I just read about it on the website. The world has gone mad! Did anyone actually see the show? What did Sharon say to him Loulou?!! What's this about the 'reliable girlfriend' thing?!

Well, I'm glad I'm not in the UK for a few more weeks, I can avoid all the 'Steve' press. Smarmy little pleb.

Sharon said he was over confident from the start and that he was not all what he appeared to be and she wanted the public to know he was a fake. I don't know what brought that on but she really went at him. I could see Steve's girlfriend in the audience and she has been there most weeks except for the time when he made front page of the newspaper wearing no shirt and saying he liked kinky sex. His girlfriend disappeared that week(can't blame her). But she was there last night.

He was supposed to have been seen trying it on with Tina Hobley at some do, but his girlfriend 'stood by him'. Wonder if she'd have stayed standing by him if he'd gone out of the show that week...

What a sleaze! Steve keeps banging on about how he'd love to bed Beyonce. I also just found out about the 'Volvo' comment - Steve said his girlfriend was like a Volvo; she's reliable.

Charming little pleb.

I'm amazed they're not delaying the release of the single - there's no way it'll dislodge Band Aid 20, appalling as the record is (not the sentiment I hasten to add.) In a few month's time all anyone will remember is that Steve's first single didn't make No.1.

Who out of the others do you reckon will be heard of again? I reckon Sharon will find a contract for Tabby, and someone will give Rowetta a deal. G4 will do a 'classical pop' album, then someone will persuade Jonathan to go solo and become the new Russell Watson. I think the world of reality TV or worse, satellite, beckons for the others.

Its the Band Aid one. I like that it is number one. Shame they can't do that amazing concert all over again. I was only 4 months old when they done it the first time around. I hope it stays number one for Sunday's chart.

The only ones that have done well out of the Pop Idol, X Factor think are Gareth and Will and Girls Aloud.

The New band Aid single is crud!  it's got no redeeming features whatsoever, although the original was quite good.

Then that must be a truly diabolical song.  Although the aims are laudible, the the new Band Aid song is just so cheesy, inept, totally lacking in quality and downright naff.

Steve's song is a cover of 'Against All Odds'. Maybe the thinking behind it is that the Mariah Carey/Westlife cover was so awful, this version would sound good by comparison...
