I cook dinner. ONCE IN A WHILE, my husband does the washing up. So why does he come out of the kitchen all smiles only to announce proudly:

"I've done YOUR washing up dear."

WHY does he fill the kettle for a cup of tea, boil it, and four hours later I'm still waiting for a cup of tea?

Does he come in and proudly say 'I've put the rubbish out', beaming as if he expects a round of applause? That is a common complaint amongst my female friends!

spicey, you are so lucky you never actually get the cup of tea, my hubby makes me one once in a purple moon, makes it soo rotten...like warm watery milky..he so knows i will never ask him for another...nice to see you spicey by the way! has been a while...am still around but once again i will vanish mid march.. BUT I WILL BE BACK..!!

Reminds me of a story I heard once about a woman in hospital. She asked her husband to bring her in a clean nightie, saying 'there's one in the washing machine'. Bring it in he did - literally straight from the machine, without bothering to dry it! 'Well you didn't say...' he protested as water dripped from the bag...
