Aero Vanilla Yogourt
« on: February 21, 2006, 12:00:33 am »
Well, last year in Canada, maple flavoured chocolate bars were the trend. Maple Coffee Crisp, Maple Oh Henry!, and Maple Caramilk were introduced (though I think that Maple Caramilk may be a permanent addition to the Cadbury family).
This year, yogourt's the in thing. Two weeks ago I had the pleasure of trying Coffee Crisp Yogourt, and today I bought myself an Aero Vanilla Yogourt. I haven't tried it yet, but looking at the little cardboard display in the store, it would appear that it's your basic Aero bar, with a layer of creamy yogourt filling on top of the chocolate bubbles, whereas I was expecting something along the lines of the white Aero, which has the white bubbles enveloped in chocolate. I don't know if this is exclusive to Canada, though.

I like my yoghurt in a pot and my chocolate wrapped in foil and never the twain shall meet.
Old but spicey!

Hey, thanks for all these updates, Lemonzinger. This one's a limited edition, according to their site. Anyway, once you taste it, be sure to let us know what it's like. Enjoy!

I can't edit my replies. Very well, then. I'll post a new one.

Incidentally, they have Cappuccino and Bitter Aero varieties in Japan. Sayonara.

Actually, I tried it this afternoon. My curiosity got the better of me. It was lovely, though I thought the filling would be more liquid. I recall there was a bar released a few years ago by Cadbury called "Yogourt", which came in strawberry and peach varieties. The filling was exactly like that, though vanilla-flavoured.

A few months ago I would have agreed, but in Germany I tried a yogurt-filled chocolate bar (can't remember the make) and it was delicious!
