This man on Holiday Showdown who is an old bigot has been sent on holiday with a bisexual couple. He's just said 'I don't like homosexuality, it gets right up my back'. Does it now?

I don't believe it - he gets worse! The bigot family has just walked out of a tranny restaurant and the dad has said 'we didn't feel comfortable, so we've come out'. Does he even think before he speaks?

To cap it all, he said to them at the end of the show 'I like you, straight up'. Or bisexual up?

I saw that show! What I could not believe was their twisted logic. This trigger-happy band could not stand homosexuality! They think it's immoral. They're quite happy to shot a pig for fun though.

I saw it too.  The kids were almost worse than the parents with their gun obsessions.

What is a freudian slip? I have heard it mentioned in books but I don't know exactly what it means

It's when you say something which sounds like a mistake but actually reveals your subconscious thoughts.

in the resturant the bigot father was quiet happy for his kids to watch women pole dancing , it was only when he found out they were men he had a problem with it , so he considered it fine to allow women to entertain his children in a sexual way , just not men !!!!  and how he managed to last the 5 days without shaving that moustache of i do not know

That was hilarious - there he was, raging homophobe, and they all thought he was the gayest man there!

The good thing is, though, that he actually learned about himself and others through his experience so he did not totally close his mind to things.

It was the kids that scared me. I could almost dismiss the dad as a product of a bygone age, but the next generation growing up with those attitudes is a scary thought.

The idea of sending your children to a military boarding school is quite sinister. What on earth do they learn?
