Returning to the theme (hastily!) I confess a certain affection for Mull of Kintyre.

Admit it, who bought 'Save Your Love' by Renee and Renato?
Who needs karma when you know you're great already?

Absolutely not!!!!

I love Happy Talk too 623.

Also I have some satirical affection for The Chicken Song (Spitting Image)

I did buy I just called to say I love you By Stevie Wonder which is quite embarrasing and I have a great affection for two very old folk songs: Puff the Magic Dragon  by Peter, Paul & Mary and Michael Row The Boat Ashore by the Highwaymen. These two songs send shivers up and down my spine for very personal reasons. (Not sexual though!!!)

Old but spicey!

Ah so this thread was inspired by my love of Bananarama.

When I was a child, I had a pathalogical fear of Pinky and Perky and would scream the house down if I ever caught a glimpse of them. I especially hated the one in the hat.  Even now, I can't look at them without smelling that fear.

On the same CD I had on last night was 'Japanese Boy' by Aneka!

'Mister won't you tell me where my love has gone, he's a Japanese boy, oh I miss my Japanese boy...'

I have the Mini Pops version of that on cassette

When I was little we had noisy next-door neighbours who played that song over and over into the early hours. Hate it!

I confess to owning a Pinky and Perky record - I haven't seen it for a long time (honest!) but I believe it's called "Pinky and Perky's Beat Party."  Probably worth a fortune on ebay.  Or not.

I loved Bucks Fizz ... it was very sad when they had that tour bus crash.

But if they hadn't split, we'd have never had the joy of 'Eggs and Baker'...
