Sorry Smurfboy our last posts crossed - I think you're right, they're some kind of lower fat version of the real thing.

I'll start this argument again.......

Try a Flyte. It is an OLD Milky Way.

Oh yes it is............

I agree with you paul they are the old Milky Way. I used to love Milky Ways until they changed them, Flyte just taste like the old Milky Way

Have you tried a 'wild and whippy' from Tesco? They are a similar sort of bar.

Haven't eaten a Flyte or a Milky Way for years so not sure how they compare.

Milky Way taste a bit cheap these days. The filling used to be light and chocolate/malty but now it's a dirty colour and tastes a bit stale.

Flyte is nicer.

I honestly believe that a Flyte IS the old Milky Way.

Getting Mars to speak to you, never mind reply to a specific question is all but impossible.

Does anyone know the reason for them changing the old Milky Ways. Flytes are not nearly as nice

Nope. They just changed them.

Like why did they call Marathons Snickers? Why did they get rid of Opal Mints/Pacers? Why did they call Opal Fruits Starburst?

Don't get me started!!

At least changing the name of Marathon/Opal Fruits makes sense in a way (not that I agree with it!) - completely changing the recipe of a bar seems very strange.
Who needs karma when you know you're great already?
