I'm not likely to cut my finger off with a blunt knife.

No but it is more likely to slip on that which you are cutting and give you a nasty wound.

We have a set of sharp knives set in a block but I have to hide them because just setting eyes on them makes me go all funny. It's really silly becuse when i was in retail management many eyars ago I spent the whole of the long, hot summer of '76 learning butchery and I did not have a knife phobia then!

I've developed some phobias since having the children - I'm too scared to go on the back of my husband's motorbike now but 25 years ago I used to love being on the back and going 90 miles an hour from London to Devon!

Old but spicey!

Maybe you just felt the need to be more safe once your children came along. Those knife blocks give me the jitters too.

I hate knife blocks too. I like to keep my knives in the cupboard where I can't see them.

There is only one liar here Bicerin. I never got my sample.

Heavenly Turffles, on the other hand, did send me the sample he promised.

So now you're accusing people of lying too? Wow, you know how to make yourself popular!

And it's must have, not must of.

Who needs karma when you know you're great already?

By the way, if I had got a sample, and loved it, I would gladly sing your praises to the forum.

By recorded delivery and with a postage certificate. I always get a postage certificate when I send parcels now because so many things mysteriously disappear in the post, especially where ebay is concerned.
