Is it just me?
« on: February 04, 2006, 12:44:27 am »
Am I alone with this one? When I have any 'coloured sweets' wether it's something like smarties or m&ms or maybe fruit jellies. I like to group the colours together, and eat them in some kind of rotational order. But most importantly,  I like to have at least one of each colour saved for the end, and eat them in order... least fav first leaving my fav for last

I rarely eat Smarties, but when I do, I like sucking on them until the colour comes of the shell, and when the shell becomes thin, I press it against the roof of my mouth, and let the chocolate ooze out once the shell breaks. Nummers.

Yes done that one many times. Have I imagined it about smarties, but they all taste the same except for the orange ones? I'm never sure wether it's just my brain making the colour/flavour association.

Glad to have the company!

I do the same with revels, but have given up on them now there doesn't seem to be a peanut one.

I can't believe they ditched peanut and kept coffee.
Who needs karma when you know you're great already?

I do this with m&ms and with boxes of chocs such as quality street. And I always save my favourites for last!

While your talking about orange smarties (yes they do taste different) if you put some tia maria, or kahlua, in a glass of orange juice it tastes just like orange smarties - yum yum, my favourite drink.

I am so glad that there are other people who share my strange habits. I
have actually always done that with sweets that are coloured, but
before i used to eat them colour group by colour group, now i do it in
the rotational way.

I always tended to save my favourites to last, still do with some
foods. If having rainbow drops I'd eat the very small ones and save the
larger and more sugar coated ones for last
