Does anyone remember (Oldspice) when you used to get assorted cheese triangles instead of them being all the same?  I remember a tomato one and celery and chive or onion.  I want them back!

I think you got 2 of each flavour - plain, tomato, celery and onion.  Mindyou 8 would be a strange number.

Yes, Goldencup. I do remember these. They were not quite as wide as Dairylea hence you got eight in a box. They were not made by Dairylea (were they Laughing Cow???) and the flavours you describe are the ones I remember. I can remember having them in my sandwiches on my first day at High School and fighting with my cousin over a tomato one.

The tomato was always the favourite - I wonder why they stopped making them?  I don't think they were Laughing Cow - maybe Kraft?  They still make those Primula things in tubes but I don't think they're the same as the triangles were.  Anyway the only one I liked of those was the smokey cheese and they stopped making that too.

You're not wrong there... I think it was basically salt in guar gum with a hint of cheese flavour.

But definatley a marraiage made in heaven with celery!

I knew someone who used to squirt it straight onto his tongue from the tube.
