Nestle in crisis
« on: February 03, 2006, 06:01:06 pm »
So Nestle are still losing money, and the guy responsible for all the many Kitkat flavours of the last 1.5 years has left...I wonder what is next to come? The report is here: http://www.brandrepublic.com/bulletins/digital/article/52791 1/nestle-crisis-follows-crisis-nestle/

And heres a quote that will please oldspice:

"Even worse, he believes, the quality of the Kit Kat product itself is
poor
. 'You can see the wafer through the chocolate and the fillings
tend to be down one side. Why should I get my customers to spend 40p on
that?'"

For a while we lost the edit button when we reached five stars but that has been put right.  I think it comes in at 4 stars.

Someone in my office handed round snack sized Yorkie Bars this week (I bet they came from Qaulity Street tins!). I decided to risk one and it was totally vile. It was like very cheap, sweet, nasty cooking chocolate. In fact, I would never cook with it. Nestle should be ashamed.

Tell the people in your office if they want to hand round chocolate to bring something nice in.

We have a tradition of bringing in chocolate left over from Christmas if we haven't eaten it by Feb 1st!

I took in a Stollen Cake!

That's disgusting. You not only stole a cake, but you made your colleagues eat stollen goods too? You should be ashamed of yourself.
Who needs karma when you know you're great already?
