It wouldn't be like that if Cabana came back though.

It was a disappointing re launch. If it hadn't been for this site, IRN and snackspot, I would never have known they were being relaunched

We are now down to our last few boxes of Texans at Britishcandy.com. Texans are now very, very hard to find at the different suppliers we use.

Since they was relaunched last summer I hardly ever saw them in any shops other than Peterborough Woolies and the odd corner shop. There was no problems with supply as we have sold 100's of boxes, maybe the shop keepers didnt bother with them because they didnt know how popular they would be or just keep on buying the same old stuff in every week and dont bother with anything new unless its on special offer!

Im very tempted to keep the last box of Texans for myself

I never saw them in the shops here either.  If a kind forum member hadn't sent me one (they know who they are) I would never have tried one.

That is where Nestle got it VERY wrong! They needed far more advertising as well.

I love Texan. I am one of the ones that has rattled on for years about them, trying to explain them to friends who are too young to remember them. I was over the moon when I spotted them them in Woolies! And they tasted as good as I remembered! And I can't believe that someone else used to freeze them, i thought I was the only ine!!

Luckily for me my partner does listen to me and got me two boxes for Christmas but I'm down to half a box now and am beginning to panic about waiting another twenty years to taste them again.
