I hated Jim Robinson! i couldn't help remembering him in The Young Doctors with a terrible bubble perm.

Helen Daniels had so many strokes she could kiss her knees without bending down.

She also fell over in the garage and landed unconscious with the exhaust pipe of a running motor car up her left nostril. She was there for hours but she still survived. Anyone else would have been dead in thirty seconds.

Old but spicey!

At least she didn't slip on spilt milk and lose 30 years of her memory like Susan!

I gave up on it about five years ago because they moved Shortland Street opposite it

So you were the other viewer for Shortland street Smurfy! I used to love that. It was on around the time my boys were very young and I used to get to watch it around their nap time!

Have you noticed how it crops up on a lot of those out take types of shows?

I was really peeved when they stopped showing it on Meridian... right in the middle of some gripping story line about possums or something!

I was gutted. It got dropped in loads of regions when they brought back Crossroads, but they kept it in Central. It's best days were gone when they eventually did drop it but I was still upset. I was in pieces when Tiffany died - I kept willing her to have a miracle recovery!

Did anyone ever watch A Country Practice? Again, when I was at home with my kiddies that was on in the afternoons. It was nice and gentle.

I can't believe how I spent my time before I went back to work! Watch TV in the afternoons now? It just can't be done!!

Chris and Tiffany from Shortland Street. They got married and were meant to move to New York, but Tiff got pissed and had an attack of air rage so they wouldn't let her in. Chris broke Tiff's heart by getting backk with his ex in New York, so Tiff married Johnny, got pregnant and fell off a skyscraper trying to talk down a 'jumper'. I cried buckets.

I loved ACP too! I miss those days. I'm off work today and am shocked at how poor daytime telly is these days.
