Who misses her? She wasn't as good the second time round, but in the days when she used to fight with Mrs Mangel she was absolutely untold.

I loved Mrs Mangel. I used to have a neighbour who we christened Mrs Mangel but she was quite nice really.

I gave up on it about five years ago because they moved Shortland Street opposite it. I do like to watch it occasionally now though because Paul is back in it, and Gail is coming back too (yay!)

I was gutted when Daphne died. Me and my sister used to act out her death scene in the garden. She would be Daphne and I would be Des, and then Beverly trying to shock her back.

She had big shoulder pads, big sleeves and a huge, gravity-defying quiff hairdo. She was fabulous.
