My friend asked the pet shop owner if he had fat balls once! She insists she did it quite innocently.

Ok see if i can explain this one. I went into Boots and asked if they had any pot pourri (pronounced pot puree) and the woman said 'you mean po peree'. Then she went to all the other assistants telling them i had pronounced it wrong.

That wasn't very nice of her.

I got told off for not saying February properly - I can't because I have a slight lisp!
