Chunky

I need some help with a debate I am having with my wife.  I bit into a chunky the other day and said, "you got the kind with the raisins".  She then goes on to say "yeah, that is all they make".  I could be wrong but I could have swore that when I was a kid my mom used to get one in a gold wrapper.  I thought that they made 1. The standard nut and raisin. 2. Peanut butter.  3.  All nuts.  Am I getting candy bars mixed up here or what.  Any input would help. Thank you.

I have seen those in Cybercandy. Are you in the US or Aus?

I have had Chunky from America, is a Nestle (I think) product, like a square of 4 chunks, like a fruit and nut bar.

Yes CC, Chunky has a silver wrapper. They are not very exciting, kind of like a fruit and nut Yorkie bar.

Of course Cherry Ripes are gorgeous!

I brought a little bar. It was gone in 3 small bites, but I thought thats gotta be better than a big bar. It was really nice!

There are Cherry Ripe Chocettes which are Cherry Ripe balls about the size of Malteasers, and delicious too

They last for ages as half a bag is more than enough for one sitting

I thought Cherry Ripe was a bit bland. It did not have strong cherry taste to me. The Aussie bar I do like very much is Peppermint Crisp - it reminds me of Mint Cracknell. Shame it's made by Nestle!
