Darts on TV

I can't believe how much this has been on TV this week.  I tried watching it one evening and was asleep in 10 minutes.

These are only the first rounds, the finals next week will be much better. There are televised sports much more boring than darts!

That's easily solved, just change channels.

One thing I can't bear is the World's Strongest Man. Why are we subjected to this every New Year's Day?

I love that too! And last year was World's Strongest Woman too!

But it's not the same on five as on the BBC. For a start all their weights were given in pounds by an American presenter and I had no idea what they were talking about!

Five killed Robot Wars as well, another of my favourite shows

I'm strictly an imperial boy when it comes to weights I'm afraid - kilos mean nothing to me.

I understand kilos and stones but forget how many pounds in a stone, so if I'm told something is 400 pounds yes I know it's heavy but I want to watch the programme not do mental arithmetic! On the BBC, John Inverdale gave both measurements.

I don't understand kilos either. I get pounds and stones
