8 Women
« on: December 31, 2005, 01:24:59 am »

I'm watching the strangest French film called 8 Women. It's supposed to be a murder mystery, but for some reason the characters keep bursting into song at random. The black maid came out as a lesbian, sang about loneliness and then got shot, while the old mother confessed to killing her husband years ago, got strangled by one of her daughters and smashed over the head with a bottle and shoved in the cupboard by the other (Catherine Deneuve).

It got weirder after that. Catherine Denevue had a lesbian snog with her sister-in-law after trying to strangle her.

He certainly was!  I see he's going into a musical, can't remember which one.  Me and My Girl?

Strangest film I saw was about a killer cat, that had a creature living
inside it that killed people by coming out of the cats mouth.

Mamma Mia? I heard him talking to Jonathan Ross saying he was leaving Eastenders and had either been in MM or was starting it.

He was in Mamma Mia and Jessie Wallace was his make-up artist. He's going into Guys and Dolls. Apparently Pat is getting a new nephew to be the totty for the lady viewers.

Has anyone ever seen the film about a boy who wakes up one day and has turned into a giant fly?  It's grotesque rather than scary.

Yes, that was it, thanks Smurfy.  And the new totty is called Deano which I find disturbing as it's the name of one of my least favourite acquaintances!
