I'd rather eat a plate of sprouts than a yorkie bar.

I will tell that to Nestle - perhaps their next 'experiment' will be 'sprout cream' flavour Quality Street.

Hey everybody.

I actually registered at this website when i searched Google for "Quality Street Yorkies". I was curious if anyone else had actually had them in their tins of QS. We had about 13 or 14 of them in our tin. 50% of the tin was comprised of Orange and Strawberry Creams (not to my familys taste) aswel, so we weren't too happy. On top of that, we literally had 3 "Purple Ones" in the whole tin! That'll be the last time we buy a tin of QS for Christmas (or so my mam says). I'm impartial towards Yorkies, they're not top of my list of best chocoalte but i'll still eat them. But i think Nestle have slightly conned people to be honest. The Yorkies weigh the tin down and nowhere on the tin does it say anything about Yorkies

Anyway, that's enough of me sounding like an old woman.

If they are testing out adding Yorkie bars, they should be a free extra, not instead of what you're actually paying for.

I've just had a dig around the tin of QS I had for Christmas (hardly started so far I'm proud to say) and discovered a grand total of four green triangles!  There was also definitely a profusion of orange and strawberry creams, as found by Maverick Man. There was a slip of paper in them saying about the Yorkie experiment but nothing on the outside of the tin.  Surprisingly though, my 23-yr-old niece said Yorkies were her absolute favourite and proceeded to eat them all on Christmas Day - no accounting for taste!

I wonder whether the Yorkies have been added free of charge or are included in the total weight. If the latter is so they are probably breaking the Trades Description Act as the tin describes the contents and its weight as Quality Street.
Old but spicey!

Good point.  Unfortunately it's too late to weigh them now....

Perhaps I should try one.  I'm wondering about aversion therapy.

I got 2 boxes of QS this year so I can't add to the Yorkie comments. I am sure my mother in law to be had a tin and there were no yorkies in that. I do think that's wrong to put Yorkies in and not say so on the tin. I don't mind Yorkies but I am paying for QS not Yorkies!!!! I can buy a Yorkie anytime.
