I'm thinking now we need a DIY section on here.

My problem is I have used some paint stripper on a window frame in my bathroom and spilt some on the plastic window sill/ledge (not sure of the proper name) making a nice brown mark on the white. I tried white spirit but it won't come off and I am thinking as paint stripper is like acid I might never get it off. Someone suggested rubbing with wire wool. Any suggestions? Plan B is to take the window sill thing off and replace it but I would prefer an easier option .

Amendment to the above:

I didn't mean to put 'nice' before brown mark as reading it back it looks like I might like the brown mark.
