Crossroads had a lot of male fans for some reason. The new series was total bunk. I am old enough to remember the original format and it was rather hammy but nice, easy viewing for pre-six o'clock relaxation. Meg Richardson and her saintly son used to drive me nuts but some of the characters were real classics. The storylines were hilarious and the continuity was hysterical. Once, poor old Benny went to get a spanner and it took him ten months to come back. people used to go into a phone box wearing one set of earrings and come out wearing a completely different set! Sometimes the characters even forgot each other's names and used their real names!
Old but spicey!

And the plot when Amy Turtle was suspected of being a Polish spy called Amelia Turtulovski!

The Goodies programme was quite funny and brought back memories from my childhood.  Bill oddie has changed the most, he is very fat now.  Graeme Garden looks like he has a skin illness of sorts.

I enjoyed it too.  It's interesting that the Goodies themselves can't understand why their programmes are never repeated.  I'd often wondered about this and assumed it was either because they'd been lost or the Goodies didn't want it.  Obviously not the case.
