Yes, I did! Thanks, Lou. Sounds like your friend had a good time too. We didn't deep fry the turkey - we roasted it in the oven. That was the first time I had pumpkin pie (along with everyone else in the room) and it was surprisingly good. Managed to feed all ten people that came and had minimal leftovers afterwards, so that was wonderful.

Tried these this week. Really nice. My son bought a packet from the sweetie shop after school. Let me have two... neither were his last one! Swine! Time to bring up all those 'endearing baby stories' in front of his mates I think!
