I found out that in Australia you can get Galaxy chocolate in white chocolate and also dark chocolate varieties. Strange that we don't get them over here, or maybe they are softening us into a white chocolate phase, a la the new White Twix.

Hi, you've mentioned having some Aussie chocolates sent to you, which got my curiosity, so, how did you manage that?

which ones did you get? is chocolate down there better than it is in Europe?

My friend is Aussie (lives in UK) and his family sent up some choccies.
I got white Twix, white M&M's, cadbury black forest, cadbury cherry
ripe bites, nestle white knight, umm...I'm sure there were others but
none stand out.

I dont think their chocolate is much better. It is different (cos it
has a lower melting point there..or is it higher? not sure), but not
better. Infact I would say ours is better. Not sure about Europe
though, I have heard that their choccy is far better than ours.

funny, i thought Cadbury (without veggie fat) is supposed to be better there, though never having tasted it, i wouldn't really know.

i wonder what's Dove like, did you get to try any flavour?

Aussie milk chocolate is disgusting! I have to take supplies with me when I go there. We have friends there who send my kids bars of it every year (probably the flight doesn't improve it) and we don't like to tell them it goes straight in the bin. Their white chocolate is good though.

Dove is gorgeous. I recently picked some up in Cybercandy. Its really creamy. The white varity is fantastic

My favourite soap is Cleopatra. if you use it on your hair instead of shampoo it makes your locks smell gorgeous
