I had already gone to bed when you sent this mail.  Yes, I forgot and now I'm all out of sync

I have dual-nationality! I have a British and an Australian passport. I'm in the UK for research purposes at the moment (and will be for the next two years or so), but mostly my home is in Sydney.

In short; yes (!)

That must be tricky when it comes to the Ashes.  Who do you cheer for?

Thanks, yeah I'm having a great time here! It'll be nice to have a (possibly) white christmas, though I'm sure the whole 'cold christmas' novelty will wear off come January.

I really prefer the chocolate over here though. Australian chocolate is nice, but we don't have as much choice or variety (no Ripple, no Revels, no Boost!). We do have A LOT of Lindt and Milka though, so I guess every cloud has a silver lining

I'm not really a big fan of spectator sports, so I just avoid watching the cricket really. I was very happy when England won the rugby though. I think because Australia is such a young nation, and not very well accustomed to losing in rugby (well, not to some nations, anyway), it was such a huge shock for everyone there when England beat Oz! Australia, to be honest, didn't see the UK as any real threat and the winning celebrations had already begun before the match had even reached the halfway point!  Aussies can be a little gloating and presumptuous when it comes to sport so, yes, I cheered when Johnny scored (that and my best friend, who's English, would have thumped me if I hadn't!).

I'm glad you are having a good time chocoholic!

The milka brand is lovely. Waitrose stock a few bars in this country. We have a lot of Lindt chocolate in this country too. That is one of the top brands in my opinion.

I got the Milka Praline variety. I haven't tried it yet but it looks yum!

Have you tried the Lindt Hazelnut Praline one?
