They used to call it 'the change' in my day!
Who needs karma when you know you're great already?

I was watching 'Keeping up Appearances' earlier and realised I have started laughing like my nan!

That is Nana, Oldspice. If you asked Marble and I (which you might/might not), we would say that The Royle Family is our favourite comedy EVER!

I could almost repeat all the shows verbatim.

Incidentally, if you are turning into her have you laughed so much that you farted and followed through?

laugh

Nana:"They still talk about it to this day!"

Jim: "Who does?"

Nana: "Me and Elsie!"

laugh

Priceless!!!!!!!!!!

Royle Family is ok but I think Bottom is funnier, Rik Mayall is a hoot.

Agreed Paulham - the Royles are fantastic. My nan IS Nana - she even has an Elsie equivalent, May, a drama queen of the first order.

Remember the woman from Droylsden on This Morning, having a makeover?

'They did her hair lovely. It was a reddish tint - you know, like one of those red setter dogs? And they put her in a pastel blue. Do you remember that blue scarf I had? Well it was THAT sort of a blue. Blue-ISH'.

I LOVE the Royle Family. But they do make me cringe - as if someone has written a comedy that is somehow about people like me!

I love the 21st party one the best. The old guy from next door sings I'll take you home again Kathleen and the camera work is simply magnificent.

Nana asks the granson if his vetetarian girlfriend  can eat thinly sliced ham.

Oh it's a shame!

I have that one on DVD. It's the way she says "thinly sliced ham" that is so funny.

Oh God yes!

When "Sheggsy" asks if the patch over Nana's eye is due to it being the one having the cataract removed and Jim tells her no, the eye is trying to give up smoking!

Cheryl would like that wouldn't she - a mint chocolate on her pillow!

I am a veggie and did you know my Gran used to offer me wafer thin ham because 'there's not much meet in it'! Absolutely true!

Corgi B "yes, I'll miss her, but at least we'll stop getting the blame for pissing on the sofa".
