Mint, Coffee and Orange Walnut Whips

Anyone remember them? The mint was bloody gorgeous!!

I remember the coffee ones and in the immortal
words of Peter Kay - "I'd rather lick my own a***hole".

I only remember M&S doing a mint one. I remember Rowntrees doing a coffee one but an orange one? I don't remember them.

M&S do a lovely double chocolate one with a chocolate sauce running through the cream - but the cream's a bit yuk.

Peter Kay was talking about Picalilly when he made
that comment but it's one of my favourite phrases, I
use it a lot, much to the dismay of my Mum. She's to
blame for my sweet tooth and my toothache. She
used to eat at least 1lb of Sherbet Lemons every day
and woe betide anyone who tried to take one out of
her bag.  My toothache's gone now, thanks to
swilling Fernet Branca around it.

they did a lemon walnut whip briefly

the coffee ones were nice

my earliest walnut whip memory is of blue packs for milk choc and red packs for plain, with a cellophane window  that you could see the walnut whip through, and it came on a little tray inside the pack.

although of course my memory could be completely wrong!
