IF feasible, reliable, effective, safe and clean public transport were available in this country a lot more people would use it. However, there is little or no incentive, other than the crippling taxes that the government pile upon everything. You pay tax on your money at least 4 or 5 times. Income tax, tax on savings, VAT, petrol and road taxes, tobacco taxes (for smokers) and levies on alcohol (for drinkers). It is disgusting and i do not see anything close to "value for money". Will Prescott support his party and surrender his "two Jags"? I think not. Its a classic example of good old fashioned left wing corruption coupled with painful "human rights" and political correctness. I know that TOO MUCH of my tax payments fund the lazy and the opportunistic whilst i struggle to feed and clothe my family. Something can't be right here...

Ask First about your route,  demand why teh new buese still can't run on it, unforuntly more poeple need to take teh bus where I live you can around the whoel town £7 - week hoispatl, leisure park, work. &16 - Whole FIFE.  PLEASE don't give up on Pulbic transport unforunlty you have to put up with FIRST ( thier REALLY have probloms I can can give you a whole list if you want.

The new buses do run on my route but not at the time when I wanted the bus. Up until August I regularly complained to First in writing, I even logged all the buses which did not run. They just kept sending me free travel vouchers and the 'service' did not change so I have given up on them; they obviously don't need my custom.

It doesn't matter to me how much the bus costs (within reason) if it doesn't get me to work safely and on time then I will not use it.

i was quite happy paying £2.60 a day round trip to work on the local bus, but now my work is being relocated to a rural area with not local service at the times i need so i will be forced to get a taxi at the cost of £16 round trip or give up work and look for something else
