Nestle Double Choc
« on: August 27, 2005, 12:26:53 am »
It's driving me MAD! Nestle brought out the most scrumptious double
chocolate bar - NOT the double cream bar, but one in a brown and cream
wrapper. It was delicious - with little nibs of darker chocolate in
it... Anyway, I can't get it any longer! I can't find it ANYWHERE. Can
anyone shed light on this mystery? I've even contacted Nestle who were
totally unhelpful.

It was called Double Chocolate, and it was a slab - no sections.

I miss it.

I loved it....

Any ideas?

Chochip xxxx

I'm worried for the future of the Double Cream/Double Chocolate range. Tesco have reduced it to clear...

I share your love of Double Choc, Chochip - let's hope it's still going!

I'm very relieved that it's still available somewhere - but I still can't find it in my part of the UK.I know Nestle brought this bar out to try to rival Cadbury's, and I think they had trouble getting a foothold in the big stores.

A battle of the giants - and who suffers? Me, the poor choc hungry consumer  !!!!!

I can't even order it at chocolatebuttons.co.uk because they don't have it in stock any more.

They sell it at my local market very cheap. I cant see it hanging
around long as it never sells very well. People are too used to Dairy
Milk.

Wilkinsons sell them I believe, large and small bars. They seem to be there permanently.

I treated myself to a bag of Fruit Breakout from the discount warehouse - it's actually just broken up Double Berry. Maybe that's where it all went...
