The great centenary swindle
« on: August 26, 2005, 11:26:47 pm »

I went into woolworths today and was faced with the cadburys centenary selection. there are about 8 different overpriced presentation sets & anyone who remembers me from the old forum knows i love my limited/special edition packaging, so this is absolute HELL for me; three different tins, a pack of miniatures, a mug set, a 5 bar set, a 2 bar set AAAAAAAAAAAGH its gonna cost about 60 quid to collect this lot!!   Cheers cadburys!

But where are the new products???

Nestle have been wowing us for over a year now with some real inventiveness (who could have predicted passion fruit kit kats?!?), Mars/Masterfoods have jumped on board by copying double chocolate with galaxy promises. When will Cadbury give us something that's actually new?

The almond and honey dairy milk bar? I dunno. It's weird cos of Cadbury
did new flavours they would be much more succesfull than Nestle and
more stores would stock them.
