Just spoken to the PR people about Texan, apparently they're still
collecting together their launch stuff but they'll be in touch when
they have some more info for us all (not that I'm sure what else there
is to say about it, it's coming back for a few weeks and that's what
matters).

Cited reason for bringing it back is indeed customer demand (although
the PR company didn't know about the old story of the miners strike )

I wonder whether Nestle have put nasty cheap chocolate on it or altered the nougat mix in any way. Also, if it disappeared due to maufacturing probelms, where is the sense in bringing it back for just six weeks? Won't it be difficult to commit machinery etc for such a short time? Perhaps they have contracted it out?

I've no doubt your suspicions will be proved right about the chocolate Oldspice and I was thinking exactly the same thing about the special moulds/machinery or whatever it is they need.  It just doesn't make sense to make it for six weeks and then stop.
