That's good to hear.  I can't make out if you are an head teacher or a 30-40 something rock chick

Hope I've not put my foot in it just as we're breaking the ice.

Well, you are near the mark in terms of my life's role - but which one am I? No, you are not putting your foot in it!

Do you have a double or triple identity?

I would go with the rock chick.  I have about six identities on the forum: Dr Who, Easter Bunny, Looby Loo, chocolate police and one other.

But have you ever seen a forty something rock chick?

Maybe you are not the only one with multiple identities?

Yes certainly.  If you are my age or a little older, I would expect you were well in to stuff like Sabbath and Purple at the right time to be a rock chick.  If you are a head mistress, that's still sexy.

I am not a head mistress but I do work in education. Kind of. I may have been a rock chick in the past. I do like Deep Purple. The only Sabbath track I like is WarPigs. I like many kinds of music including classical and I especially like Blues music. My favourite band is the Rolling Stones.

War pigs, excellent track from the paranoid album.  interesting.  I don't like the rolling stones.  I like Heavy metal, Baroque and pre-baroque, escpecially Monteverdi and Purcell.

I don't really know any, but I do like 'Another brick in the wall', which I suppose you will tell me is lightweight Floyd

No way! Another brick in the wall is from the album The Wall which is certainly not light! Another Brick In The Wall is quite a commercial track but the album is actually a concept album. It catalogues the mental decline of a former member of the group. It's brilliant. It's like avant garde heavy metal if such a thing can be described.

Avant garde is but a short stop from surrealism.
