Does anyone know if the mousse/ice-cream 'Lovley' still exists.  I remember it as a kid, and the last time I saw one was about 10 years ago.

They came in both dark and milk flavours, in small round brown tubs - kept in the frozen section of supermarkets.

Underneath the cardboard lid, you'd discover a chocolate frozen dessert, with a little cream star shape plopped on top.

Anyone else remember these?

Yes, I remember these. We get a few enquiries about these each year. They were delicious. Really chocolatey and claggy. Made by Birdseye I think. I used to love their lemon and orange mousse too. Don't see many individual tubs like these anymore. People seem to eat desserts by the family-sized tub full!
Old but spicey!

I loved them too ghosty. In fact they were the reason I found this forum too   I don't remember there being different flavours though, my co-op only stocked one type. Nowadays you can get similar tasting mousses from the chilled section you don't have to wait hours for your Lovely to defrost

Yeah, I do indeed!  Available in caramel and chocolate versions, made by Bird's Eye, as you say.  In a 'blobby' tub if I remember rightly.  Very smooth, but of course crunchy if not properly thawed!

The mousses (I think) were in plain-sided tubs, the domed bases of which you could pop in and out, hopefully not near somebody's ear.  Not sure if these tubs still exist - will look in Tesco next time for old time's sake.

Remember 'Star Turn'?  Probably about 1977-78, in choc and mint versions?

Older probably - I'm a product of the '60s - just!

BTW, re. Star Turn, I meant 'Choc and Mint' and 'Choc and Orange'.
