Yes I did have the winner. But it was only a very small private bet!

I had the winner and the one that came in second.

I placed: £2 on Clan Royal to win

£2 Each Way on Double Honour, Royal Auclair and Hedgehunter

So I bet £8 and won back £21.75!

I had bets on 4 horses as well choc chick!

All 4 of mine finished (which is unusual for me ) but only one was placed (4th) so on a 50p each way bet I got a couple of quid back.

My horse in my work's sweepstake faired better and came 3rd for which I won £10.

I chose 4 horses because it's one of the big events, and I must admit I
don't look at current form. I just pick the names I like.

I backed Royal Clan which lead for a while then refused to jump and was knocked out.
