I keep telling her that.  She'd make her fortune.

Which of course it probably was.  I have a friend who makes it her mission in life to spot mistakes in TV programmes, especially soaps.  She phones me and says, "Did you notice so-and-so left the house with earrings on and appeared in the pub without them" or something like that.  I am very unobservant and would make a useless witness!

I didn't spot Zoe throwing the doorstop like a lump of polystyrene, but I did notice Andy Hunter appeared to be as light as a feather! It takes more effort to blow your nose than it took Johnny to chuck him over that bridge!

P.S. I once spotted Gail Platt dash off to confront mad Carmen in a fit of pique - but she was calm enough to put her hair up on the way!

Who needs karma when you know you're great already?

In Corrie someone once said to Fred in The Rovers "Sorry to leave you with a skeleton staff on the day of the funeral".

They were totally serious.

Old but spicey!

If memory serves correctly, Stroodles weren't 'candy' but were dried apple pieces covered with chocolate, and they tasted better than they sounded ! Not sure when they were on the market but might have been sometime in the 70's ? ?
