Moldova for me. They had simply the best, wackiest and surreal song. Oh, and a woman on a unicycle.

The winners are also one of the only countries that could afford to host it next year....  I believe only France, uk and someone else could afford it.

i like the way the voters of the uk gave the most points to Moldova and Ireland. that just speaks volumes about us as a nation.

I predicted Azerbaijan would do well, so I'm annoyed with myself for not having a bet. Italy really surprised me - that had odds of 270/1, and sounded completely wrong for Eurovision to me (shows how much I know!)

The songs I liked best were Azerbaijan, Serbia, Hungary, Spain and Iceland. I knew Brits would love Moldova for the hats and unicycle alone!

I thought Jedward were shite, but Zdob și Zdub were amazing. I still think Moldova were robbed!

Moldova for me.  They were the Beastie boyz meets Timmy Mallet.  The political in-voting was ridiculous!  UK's entry wasn't appalling like in 2010, but it wasn't very good.  Coming somewhere in the middle was about right. Azerbaijan won, quite rightly. Who's for a meet-up in Baku next May?  We can go in the Tardis, just give me your co-ordinates and I'll pick everyone up.

You can't be the real Doctor, you wrote Tardis. It's TARDIS.

Guess it must say volumes for our sense of humour that more of us wanted Moldova to win (myself included).
