Cadbury Roses get new 2009 look
« on: December 15, 2008, 05:58:33 pm »
Creating more moments of pleasure, Cadbury is delighted to announce a new look for Cadbury Roses as the brand celebrates its 70th birthday.

The new packaging design was developed by FutureBrand and will be available for retailers to order from January 2009.

The design brings a contemporary feel to the iconic Cadbury Roses brand, to appeal to a younger consumer whilst not alienating the core, loyal purchaser.

The public has fond memories of this warm and caring brand, and the distinctive new design will reinforce the brand's place within the Gift to Share market.

The new packaging brings to life the idea of an informal wrapped gift, using multiple roses which provide a feeling of abundance and generosity. The ‘Roses' brand name is given its own place on pack through the device of a gift card on the front, which further enhances the product's gift appeal and shelf stand out.

Cadbury recently said it is going to reinforce his its brands for the spring season.

Kate Harding, Trade Communications Manager at Cadbury, comments: "Cadbury Roses has 70 years of heritage and continues to be the most preferred Gift to Share brand, worth £73.1 million in sales value.

"The new design will give retailers something new and exciting to offer consumers within the gifting category, which is particularly important given that Spring Occasions - including Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and Easter - are just around the corner.

Maybe one or two more varied centres would be a better way to 'bring a contemporary feel to the iconic Cadbury Roses brand'?
Who needs karma when you know you're great already?

That's what I was thinking. A few innovative new centres would go down a treat.
Old but spicey!

I prefer 'contemporary twist' - so Linda Barker.  Where is she these days anyway?

More Purple ones.

I already scoffed my Christmas tin weeks ago, it was on offer for £3.99, bargin I thought, grab one while I got spare cash... Anyway, you know how it is, one led to another led to a handful... less than 3 days it took.
