Twins cheated in Ely half marathon
« on: September 07, 2008, 09:30:46 am »
Two identical twins have been caught cheating in this year's Ely half marathon.  Oliver and Graham Baxter entered the race at different points wearing identical numbers and weren't caught until after the race when CCTV footage was examined by an alert security guard who thought Graham who joined the race after 10 miles wasn't sweating enough.

The Police have said that technically no crime has been committed as no monetary gain was sought and they didn't even win.  The twins born in March in April 1987 refused to comment.

It's still cheating and they should be doubly ashamed.

Ely is a tiny place. How did they do a marathon? They must have ran round and round the cathedral!
