Galaxy Jewels
« on: November 06, 2010, 03:21:02 pm »
Hi everyone, this is my first post here, my names Dawn and I moved from the UK to Qatar just over a year ago and Qatari's have the most incredible sweet tooth.

I'm not sure if the UK has these but they are massive here, Galaxy Jewels, it is like the galaxy version of quality street or roses, only 1000 times better.  My christmas cupboard will be brimming with them this christmas ( I'm a sucker for Galaxy ;D)

Yes, I saw these in a discount warehouse store in the Midlands a couple of years ago, and they looked tantalising, though dubious and past their sell-by-date (as usual for the store). They're mentioned in this post:

I always wondered what the legitimate version would be like and was much saddened that Mars never intorduced them to the Western World.

Interesting - I have a Midlander friend who is a Galaxy fanatic and often talks about a warehouse she visits for chocolate.  I will mention this to her.

I could moan here about Galaxy chocolate, but I won't...
