Not really new but it is fairly quiet on the chocolate front so we'll have to take what we can get.

I'm never sure about these branded cakes. They're usually nice enough but unspectacular.
Who needs karma when you know you're great already?

It's the cake bit that tends to put me off them. Chocolate cake isn't half as nice as gateaux.

I've really gone off cakes. The only cake I can fancy is M&S Lemon Drizzle. I like dense cakes, not light spongey ones.

Yes, you're right Oldspice, that's exactly it.  These sort of cakes are too spongy.  Quite pleasant but somehow unsatisfying.

I have really got into carrot cake over the last few months. (It's one of my 5 a day)
Icing and cinammon just make it perfect.
