Anyone tried one recently?
The buggers have changed it and not for the better!
The one I tried had chocolate so thick inside that it didn't have that snappy/cracky texture you used to get when you bit inside it. It was like a Galaxy Truffle.
I am not impressed.

Oh no. They can't have done that.
I love Ripple bars, and that satisfying snap you get when you bite into one!
I haven't had one for a while I must admit, but I'll have to try one now.
I'm going to be very upset if they've spoiled it.

I find Galaxy chocolate a bit waxy. I would always choose Flake or Dipped Flake before Ripple but I feel for you 'cos it's so annoying when a favourite bar is ruined. I mourn the old Toffee Crisp.

I will have to buy a Ripple tomorrow and check. If you're right Paulham (and I have no doubt you will be!) I will definitely be unchuffed.

I haven't had one for ages, so in the interests of research I may break my diet. Perhaps it was just a freak one, like those KitKats you sometimes get with no wafer.

I sincerely hope so.
The taste had changed as well due to the new recipe Galaxy chocolate and I don't think it was a nice as the old version of the Ripple.
Strangely, I like new Galaxy bars better than old ones.

I have to swap and change between Galaxy bars and Cadbury's Dairy Milk, as I love love love one and that's all I eat. Then I get the munchies for the other one, love love love that one for a while, then switch back again.
I guess I'm just fickle!

Whew! Panic over.
You were right as usual Smurfy.
I wish I had photographed it so I could have sent it to Mars.

Do you mean I broke my diet for nothing?
Oh well, I think it was worth it and it tasted fine to me.

Diet!? You don't need to go on a diet. You're lovely as you are.
That's a smashing blouse you are wearing.
