bars that taste different now

What chocolate bars do you remember tasting better when you were younger? I am remembering back to the 80s with these examples:

Mars
They softened the chocolate and caramel and removed the malt. WHY???

Yorkie
The chocolate is softer than it used to be for sure and quite tasteless now as well. BLAND

Wispa
It was chunkier in the old days, then they made it flatter. Took away from the eating experience imo.

Double Decker
Where are the raisins! It's a disgrace of a bar these days.

Caramel
Well, now it's the bloody Dairy Milk Caramel, but even before it changed to that they had messed with the caramel formula making it smoother and blander. In Dairy Milk form it's shocking.

I remeber the good ol' days when you stick one of these in the fridge for a sadistic treat!  It'd last for hours!!!

Cadbury's chocolate tastes different these days.  It used to be lovely in the 70's, but I hardly eat the stuff now.

Yes, there was a disastrous experiment with 'new smoother' caramel over a decade back, but it was later restored to the original recipe - and hasn't changed since as far as I can see Confused
Who needs karma when you know you're great already?
