Yes, it's an Egyptian Goose. Native to Africa.  I have seen wild ones in Tunisia.  They are a naturalised species in the UK after being introduced in the 20th century to Norfolk.  In the last 10 years they have spread out and are now doing well in many areas.

Thank you Bounty. I have a few good photos of it but could only upload this thumbnail because my photos were too large for this site. I wanted to use one of the photos for an assignment (I am doing a photography course) so appreciate that identification.
