Chocolate Week
« on: October 17, 2007, 10:47:08 pm »
Just a reminder it's chocolate week on at the moment.
Here's the latest e-mail from the organisers:

Chocolate Week is now well under way
and we're having a fantastic week.

The Chocolate Hotel is now open (visit www.thechocolatehotel.co.uk) for more details.

Divine fairtrade chocolate are sampling at Borders bookstores to celebrate the launch of their new book and have various events around the country.

Waitrose have tastings at many of their stores and William Curley is holding speed tastings at the new John Lewis food hall in Oxford Street.

Paul A Young has made the city boys and girls very happy by opening up his new chocolaterie there and he's also holding a chocolate and cheese tasting event tomorrow night at his Islington boutique which we're really looking forward to attending - it's one of the most interesting tasting events of the week.

There are a few places left on seventypercent's VIP London chocolate tour on Saturday which takes in some of the best chocolate shops in the capital, a talk by chocolatier Bill McCarrick and includes exclusive discounts and a goody bag.

If, by any chance, you can't make it to any of the fantastic Chocolate Week events then why not hold your own tasting at home. The Academy of Chocolate have come up with tasting notes on some widely available bars of chocolate along with advice and how to tell a good quality chocolate.

The notes are on the Chocolate Week website in the 'Hold your own event' section so invite some friends around, get down to Waitrose to purchase the relevant bars (and a bottle of wine) and have a wonderful evening.

We've joined forces with Montagne Jeunesse to give 250 lucky subscribers the chance to win a scrumptious Chocolate Mud Masque.

This tempting new face masque oozes natural ingredients to deep cleanse skin, unblock pores, moisturise and leave you with skin glowing with health.

The Montagne Jeunesse Chocolate Mud Masque is available now from Boots, Asda and Wilkinson's priced from 99p. For your chance to try one for free, simply email [email protected] with your name & address with Chocolate Competition in the subject. Visit www.montagnejeunesse.com  for more information.

Have a great week
