If someone waking from a coma read the news for the last couple of days they would think Mourinho had been killed in some tragic accident, not sacked from a football club. Yes, it's a big sport story and I expected a lot of coverage, but the 'tributes' are all a bit over the top - the BBC website even had a comment from Gordon Brown! Surely the PM should have more important things to worry about?

Frank Lampard is, indeed a brilliant player and yes, he is gorgeous too.

Chelsea, back in the late 60s/early 70s, used to be an honest working-class football club with (mostly) honest working class fans. Sorry Goldencup, but it has become a yuppies' playgound.

Actually I have to admit there is a grain of truth in what you say - but I have been a fan since those distant days so I'm not about to desert them now. I have a large poster of Frankie on my locker at work.
