Has anyone else noticed that they never seem to have their films broadcast nowadays?  They surely have not gone down in popularity;  they are widely accepted to be the Godfathers of comedy.  Is it that the ITV and BBC think they are too good for their levels of mediocrity?

And what happened to Steptoe and son and Abbot and Costello?

That's a good point, although I never rated Abbot and Costello.   The three Stooges were very funny. My mum used to take me to the pictures and see them on the school holidays, when I was about eight or nine.  Them and the Bowry boys and the Keystone cops.  Great laugh.
