I've heard of it, but not seen it yet. Anyone else?

just finished watching 'Win My Wage', or whatever it's called. i can never guess who's earning what. very difficult.

as for 'Golden Balls' - i agree with smurfy. how can you feel guilt about double-crossing someone you've just met backstage?

I quite like 'Win My Wage' - I've only seen it twice but I picked the highest earner both times.

that's a good way to do it. There was an article in the Newspaper this week, apparently the average wage for a bristish GP is 100k - This can't be right?

I think it propbably is. I'd much rather pay that to a doctor than a footballer (and I love football) or a health service manager.

i think we should cut all high-earners salary and raise minimum wage.

But then where is the incentive to work hard and get the qualifications needed for high-paying jobs?

i personally believe that the highest paying jobs are not worth the salary. footballers, for example. solicitors - that kind of thing. and fair enough that doctors get paid well - but why are they entitled to 200 days holiday a year!

and as for incentive for hard work... i truly believe someone working in mcdonalds can be just as hard working as someone managing a bank.

I agree about footballers - no one is worth 20k a week. But if the market didn't demand it, those wages wouldn't get paid.

As for McDonalds, I'm sure it's hard work, but that doesn't mean I'd want someone who shovels chips for a living in charge of my money - which is why the comparison with a bank manager doesn't wash for me.
