First Anti Smoking Murder?
« on: July 14, 2007, 10:18:25 am »
We've just had a murder locally.  A pub/club manager was stabbed in the back by one of his customers and died.  The rumour (not yet confirmed) is that he had caught the guy smoking and asked him to take it outside.  He came back in and stabbed him.
The man who died was a family man of 41 and he had done a lot of campaigning to make clubs safer in the area.  It's a great loss to the community.Cry

This is a sad and worrying story. If smoking was the cause it is even more shocking and so unnecessary.

Another sad story that made the nationals this week was the death of a local headmaster the day before his school was due for an Ofsted inspection. He was a truly inspirational and wonderful teacher and its seems he took his own life.
Old but spicey!
