[Diet Coke Plus comes in two variants, Diet Coke Plus Vitamins and Diet Coke Plus Antioxidants, with the support of a 2m media campaign, including TV, press and digital advertising from October.

The vitamins drink is said to contain more than half the recommended daily allowance of vitamins B3, B12 and C. The antioxidants variant contains vitamin C and a hint of green tea.

We believe Diet Coke Plus will give existing female drinkers of Diet Coke the functional benefits they are increasingly looking for from a brand they know and trust, said Anita Huntley, head of marketing at CCE]

This just in! Milk and fruit juices contain vitamins and minerals too.
They really are a cynical lot these big corporations aren't they?
I don't buy fizzy juice to "get healthy" or "feel good about myself and my image", I buy it because I feel like I could do with a burp!

But if kids who won't drink milk or fruit juice will drink this, surely that's a good thing?
Who needs karma when you know you're great already?

No you merely read your kids the riot act until the submit to your request to drink fruit juice.

With young kids it is incredibly easy to get them to do something you want.
Just tell them not to do it/they cannot have it.

Probably not - but maybe a vitamin-laced Coke is the lesser of two evils.
