I've got one (um no surprise there given my posting above), doesn't look anywhere near as good graphically as a 360 or ps3.
Many games are very fun indeed, Wii Sports which it comes with is great fun with friends - you don't have to flail your arms around to control it but where's the fun in that?
I've grown up with computer games (back from ZX Spectrum days), but was never a console person until the Gamecube came along which I found much easier to just pick up and play for pure fun (if you want serious games I still think the PC is the best platform, just a shame more and more decent titles are shifting to the consoles only).
Many games on the Wii are far from perfect, but there are enough good ones if you're a fan of short pick-up and play gaming sessions (I'm too old and have far too short an attention span for these games that have 30+hour narratives, I'm still only about 7 or 8 hours into Zelda on the Wii and I bought that at launch!).
I wouldn't recommend the Wii if you're a pure gamer, the 360 has better titles/variety and soon enough the power of the PS3 will start being utilised by programmers.
What is good is how many functions the Wii has for non-gamer people who also don't get on with computers, you can check news, the weather, browse the web and send e-mails (of a sort) using very simple screens.
Any other questions?
