Yay, another Buster fan! Sadly it went the way of most comics of its type back in 2000

yeah, i just found a very informative website about 'Buster'. quite shocked to hear it lasted into the 00's (just). so sad... i stopped reading it in '93, i think wjp66639124.6447106482

Same as me! It had started going to reprints by then, and apparently after 96 it was all reprints.

yeah, i noticed that. i remember reading Cliff Hanger one week in the early 90's and remembering it from the mid 80's... they'd just changed one or two of the lines to 'modernise' it a bit.

anyone remember 'OINK'? i used to have every issue of that. great days!

Oink! was great! It was merged into Buster in 1988 - Tom Thug being its best known character.

I'll just put my comic geek hat on and run off in shame shall I?

hehehehe -

'OINK' was revolutionary at the time. i've still got the free record that came with issue 1.

they even released an 'OINK' computer game on the Spectrum.
