The last of the turkey

I've just finished the last of the turkey in a Kenwood toasted sandwich maker with cranberry sauce; it's really nice.  Did anyone do anything imaginitive with the last of their turkey?

We deliberately only bought a small one and finished it on Boxing Day, cold with salad.  I think it tastes much better that way anyway.

We didn't have turkey this year. We had roast beef for Christmas Day dinner and finished it cold in sandwiches for tea. For Boxing Day we had roast gammon and the next day we finished off the gammon cold with egg and chips.

Try adding some brie as well. I don't eat turkey myself but I told this tastes great.

We don't have a turkey for Christmas.

Only my son really eats meat, (the rest of us are vegetarians) so we bought him some really good sliced turkey from our local butcher and we had vegatables, mashed potatoes and Yorkshire puddings with gravy and loads of Cranberry jelly. Lovely.

But no leftovers to do anything creative with.

This year I had chicken 'style' bake from Holland and Barrett, gravy, mash, roasties, yorkshire puddings and sprouts. Couldn't eat half of it, and didn't see the point in keeping any as leftovers.

I seen a programme on tv and they said you should always throw your turkey away by the evening of the 27th so I don't think you supposed to eat it five days old.
